Porridge with Chopped Apple, Sultanas and Cinnamon

Ingredients

100g porridge oats
Semi-skimmed milk  (600ml)
1 large apple, cored and cut into small chunks  (160g)
Golden sultanas  (50g)
Pinch of ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Put the porridge oats into a thick based, non-stick pan and add the milk.
  2. Cook over a low heat stirring until the mixture has thickened and continue cooking slowly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the porridge into small bowls and top with the apple, sultanas and cinnamon before serving.
