Ingredients

Porridge oats   (100g)
Semi-skimmed milk (600g)
1 x 290g can prunes in juice, halved and de-stoned  (170g)

Method

  1. Put the porridge oats into a thick based, preferably non-stick pan and add the milk.
  2. Cook over a low heat stirring until the mixture has thickened, then continue cooking slowly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour into bowls, top with prunes and serve.
