Winter Fruits with Chestnuts and Greek Yoghurt

Ingredients

1 tsp honey   (8g)
3 large strips orange zest  (1.5g)
cooked chestnuts, roughly chopped  (50g)
dried cherries  (40g)
5 medium dried apricots, roughly chopped  (40g)
low-fat Greek yoghurt  (300g)
Pinch of ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Put the honey and orange zest in a pan with 200ml water and bring to the boil.
  2. Stir the mixture to dissolve the honey, then add the chestnuts and dried fruits. Simmer the mixture uncovered for 10 minutes until the syrup is slightly thickened.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool and then serve with low fat Greek yoghurt and garnish with a pinch of cinnamon.
